Freshwater Trips
Spain is reknowned through out the world as the Mecca for Catfishing. However to target these monsters from our base on the Costa Blanca, we would need to travel many hours and at some considerable cost. Fantastic if you have a few days to spare, but not much good if you only have a day.
Thankfully things are still good for us, as we live in an area that is surrounded by Embalses (lakes). There are several rivers feeding most of the Embalses, that also provide great sport. Carp up to 50lb can be caught in some local waters, but most of them hold large stocks of Carp and Barbel.
Zander, Pike and Black Bass fishing can be superb with outstanding specimens being continualy landed. We specialise in targeting these predators using lure fishnig and for the more adventurous, fly fishing. There are few things more exciting than catching a specimen Pike or Black Bass on a light weight fly rod.

All the waters that we fish have all been extensively researched, explored and fished by ourselves. We know which swims fish best at each time of the year and in different weather conditions.

General Freshwater Trip
The General freshwater trip is aimed at people that are interested in fishing and may not have been for a long time, or for people that want to experience course fishing in Spain. This is also very popular amongst people on holiday. Many family’s choose this option, as youngsters and wives that may not have fished before, get a chance to hook some great fighting fish.
Species normally include: Carp and Barbel. Other fish are often caught on these trips.
Predator Fishing
One of our favourite trips; normally calls for an early or late start to make use of the first or last light. (night fishing is not allowed in Spain on freshwater venues). Using a number of tried and tested methods such as lures and dead baiting, we target the large number of predators that lurk in the numerous embalses in this area. For those experienced anglers, you may want to try fly fishing for them.
Target Species: Pike(over 15kg), Zander and Black Bass.
Mixed Days.
For those fisherman that want to have a go at targeting the Predators early in the morning then moving on to capturing Barbel and Carp as the day warms up, this is the ideal trip. Better suited to the more experienced angler.
Specialist Trips for Catfish and giant Carp
Aimed at the fishing enthusiast. These trips last 4 - 7 days and are based around the River Ebro or Extremadura. A specialist local guide will accompany you. This may entail periods of boat fishing for the Catfish if desired.
